Job summary

BlueLinx Corporation is expanding its sales team and seeks a Territory Sales Manager to manage existing customers and grow the region. You will build relationships, identify opportunities, and drive revenue while delivering excellent service.

The role emphasizes relationship building, market knowledge, and solutions selling with a focus on profit and growth within the building products sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience strongly preferred.
• 4+ years of experience as a sales driver, managing an established book or growing partnerships.
• Building material knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identifies new sales opportunities with new and existing customers, focusing on program sales.
• Maximizes sales by prioritizing the largest, most profitable opportunities.
• Improves profitability, product penetration and product mix with customers.
• Qualifies opportunities through market/customer research and teamwork with inside sales.
• Develops sales solutions and pricing strategies and communicates value to customers.
• Closes sales by obtaining purchase orders and completing order fulfillment.
• Provides outstanding customer service and builds long-term relationships for repeat business.
