Reporting to the Field Sales Lead, the Territory Sales Manager is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or regions on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts and meets targets for profitable sales volume and margin.

This position is part of the North American Sales Team, located in FL, GA, NC, SC, and is remote within a reasonable driving distance from an airport.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Participating in sales activities such as customer site visits, calls, trade shows, product demos, seminars, and channel management
  • Promoting and selling OTT HydroMet product lines to existing and new customers
  • Developing and executing a business plan and managing the territory as your own business, engaging stakeholders and internal resources
  • Collecting and reporting on competitive activity, business opportunities, customer feedback, sales trends, and results during monthly reviews
  • Using metrics, KPIs, and forecasting to manage productivity and meet sales targets
  • Nurturing customer opportunity funnels and collaborating with leadership and sales operations for optimal results
  • Preparing and presenting monthly funnel reviews using CRM (Salesforce.com) to manage activities and accounts

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in water quality, flow, telemetry, or data management solutions, selling to hydrologists, meteorologists, government, and municipal agencies
  • A degree in a management or science-related field such as Biology, Environmental Science, Hydrology, Meteorology, Engineering, or Business is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
