Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. seeks a Retail Territory Manager for Kansas to grow Shaw’s market share in hard and soft surface flooring. You will build relationships with flooring dealers, designers, and end-users, manage product samples, displays, and sales programs across Topeka to Colby.

You’ll travel within the territory, prepare periodic sales reports, and analyze data to drive growth while maintaining budget and promoting Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, Coretec, and Philly Commercial products.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED and 1 year of sales experience required.
• Must reside in the market - Topeka, Manhattan, or Salina, KS.
• Must be able to travel in a vehicle that can carry product sample boards (van or approved SUV).
• Ability to lift samples and build displays up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products, samples, displays, adhesives and related floor products.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users and analyze leads provided by corporate reports.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more.
• Prospect for viable new accounts within the designated geographic area.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and sales, showing sales volume and potential.
• Enter all customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com.
• Analyze sales statistics using computer reports to set goals and aid dealers in promoting sales.
• Monitor travel and entertainment expenditures and sample budget to conform to budgetary requirements.
