Shaw Industries Group, Inc. seeks a Retail Territory Manager for Hard and Soft Surface Flooring in Kansas. You will maintain and grow Shaw’s profitability through dealer relationships, product promotion, and data-driven sales planning in Topeka through Colby.

The role emphasizes meeting sales goals, traveling within the assigned market, and leveraging Salesforce for CRM. A high school diploma and sales experience are required, with a preference for Shaw program completion.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED and 1 year of sales experience required.
• Completion of the Shaw sales trainee program can be substituted for experience.
• Must reside in the market - Topeka, Manhattan, or Salina, KS.
• Must be able to travel in a vehicle that can carry a number of product sample boards requiring a van or an approved SUV.
• Ability to lift samples and build displays, up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include some evenings.
• Proven experience using a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products.
• Present products to retailers, designers and end-users and analyze leads.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more regularly.
• Prospect for new accounts while understanding market dynamics.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and sales volumes.
• Communicate periodic sales reports, goals, and market conditions.
• Analyze sales statistics from territory data to support dealer strategies.
• Monitor travel and entertainment expenditures and budget for samples.
• Enter customer interactions into Salesforce.com.
• Promote all residential Shaw products and educate customers on them.
