POSITION OVERVIEW:

Republic Manufacturing is seeking a Territory Regional Manager who will be responsible for the achievement of sales targets within a given geographical territory or customer segment. As part of the Outside Sales Team, this position proactively identifies and addresses customer needs by matching specific client business requirements with technical solutions provided by Republic. The Territory Regional Manager works closely with other regional managers, Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing to ensure that assigned revenue objectives are met and customers are satisfied.

This will be rewarding for an engineer who does not want to be behind a desk all-day, enjoys meeting new people, and has excellent problem-solving skills. The Territory Regional Manager reports to the Sales Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for achieving sales volumes and strategic objectives in assigned regions/territories/customer segments.
• Develop hands-on expertise with Republic products in order to identify customer needs and develop profitable solutions.
• Act as the lead in customer engagements, in partnership with the entire sales team, to gain technical fit through a consultative sales approach.
• Proactively scope the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assess customers’ needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the Company.
• Sell the complete offering of Company products and services to assigned opportunities.
• Travel to customer facilities to visit with current and potential clients and learn about their needs to create solutions using Republic's products.
• Establish and maintain productive peer-to-peer relationships with customers and prospects.
• Achieve assigned organizational objectives for sales, profits, volume, product mix, and other strategic goals.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Previous experience in a B2B sales environment.
• 1+ years of experience utilizing Salesforce.
• Previous experience with products similar to Republic's

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 2 - 5 years in an industrial sales or manufacturing sales environment ... OR ... completion of Republic's "Masters Program."
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or 5+ years industry experience
• Ability to become a subject matter expert in Republic's product offering and customer applications.
• This position requires varying levels of travel throughout the year, including customer site visits, tradeshows, and company meetings/conferences.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal).

This position is performed in a climate-controlled environment while at Republic, and remote opportunities are available. Significant levels of travel could be required throughout a given year.
