Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Territory Sales Manager position for our Wisconsin branch operations, located remotely but near our San Antonio, TX branches. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, maintaining, developing, and growing a profitable base of target and core dealers, while ensuring they are aware of the features and benefits of COD products and services.

May Include:
  • Develop and grow a volume-driven, profitable dealer base of approximately 50 target and core dealers.
  • Target and sign up dealers within your territory.
  • Build sales through active communication about new products, services, and promotions.
  • Maintain and improve sales revenue and gross margins.
  • Keep accurate call histories in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with branch managers to increase sales.
  • Develop remedial plans to meet sales targets.
  • Be the product feature and benefit expert.
  • Ensure clients have all necessary information for customer service.
  • Periodically assess customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends.
  • Expand knowledge of company products and features.
  • Follow work instructions, operating procedures, and policies.
  • Support ongoing business needs with additional projects.
Nature and Scope:
  • Align work with the director’s expectations and goals.
  • Implement policies and procedures for short-term results.
  • Handle difficult issues guided by policies and business plans.
  • Provide guidance and training to subordinates.
  • Have authority to hire, recommend pay, and evaluate performance.
  • Signatory authority as per company policy.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proven sales ability with a strong sales plan.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Organized with excellent multitasking and time management skills.
  • Ability to interpret construction documents and drawings.
  • Knowledge of HVAC products, services, and market trends.
  • Sound judgment and self-motivation.
  • High integrity and good judgment.
Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in HVAC.
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
  • Must perform essential responsibilities with or without accommodations.
  • Travel required up to 50%.
