Territory Sales Manager - South

Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG, a Swiss company within the globally active Endress+Hauser Group, is a leading provider of physical, chemical, and biological sensors. With approximately 550 employees worldwide, we focus on developing new technology, collaborating on sensor and module design, and building strong relationships across global industries to create trusted partnerships.

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager for our iST US location based in Las Vegas. This remote role requires residence in the southern US, preferably near a metropolitan area. The position involves supporting the Sales Team by driving sales efforts and strategic growth within the designated geographic area.

What is the role about?

This role focuses on executing strategic sales plans that align with company growth objectives, driving revenue, and expanding our customer base. The successful candidate will serve as a key sales contact, handle customer inquiries related to sensor development, support engineering projects, and promote iST’s advanced solutions in temperature, flow, conductivity, humidity, micro-heaters, and bio-product groups.

What tasks will you perform?
  1. Implement sales plans and initiatives to develop new and existing customer relationships.
  2. Develop and maintain the sales funnel for the assigned region.
  3. Collaborate with the sales team to identify new opportunities and execute growth strategies.
  4. Visit targeted customers to assess needs and propose standard or custom sensing solutions.
  5. Utilize software platforms to track milestones and sales performance.
  6. Provide technical support for sales inquiries, proposing solutions that meet customer needs.
  7. Work with the development team to ensure products meet industry and customer requirements.
  8. Monitor ongoing projects, communicate progress to customers, and prioritize development efforts.
  9. Align sales activities with short- and long-term objectives.
  10. Share market trend insights with sales and management teams.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
What do we expect from you?

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical field, or natural sciences, with 5-7 years of related technical sales experience.
  • Effective networking skills to expand customer outreach and collaboration.
  • Comfort with public speaking and presentations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of passive sensors, PCB, or module solutions, especially in temperature, humidity, flow, micro-heaters, and conductivity measurement.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with hands-on approach and experience in sales development.
  • Ability to integrate customer needs into product development through collaboration.
  • Experience working with global sales and development teams.
  • Professional, communicative, and motivated to work in a collaborative, analytical environment.
