Position Summary

The Territory Sales Manager will achieve sales goals by actively selling and marketing Bridgestone and Precept Brand golf products. This role is remote, based in Alabama, with travel involved.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage territory by calling on current and prospective customers, building relationships, and executing merchandising standards.
  2. Travel at least 50% overnight as needed.
  3. Prospect for and close new accounts, dedicating at least 10% of work hours.
  4. Develop and follow a territory coverage plan based on account potential.
  5. Prepare account plans for key accounts.
  6. Quote prices, prepare sales orders, and keep records of sales activities.
  7. Assist in resolving customer issues and managing inventory.
  8. Follow expense policies and submit reports timely.
  9. Participate in sales meetings and trade shows.
  10. Conduct account surveys and product seminars as needed.
Qualifications & Competencies

Must meet sales expectations, demonstrate values-driven results orientation, strategic vision, business acumen, relationship building, and merchandising skills.

Skills and Experience
  • Effective time management, relationship building, and merchandising skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, POS programs.
  • 3-4 years successful sales experience in golf or CPG industry preferred.
  • Dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, insurance, and safe driving record.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Physical & Work Environment

Regular use of hands, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and frequent driving between accounts. Work may involve outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
