Job summary

Chem-Aqua, Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager in the greater Boston area to lead and develop a sales team across assigned territory. You will support reps, drive new account sales, and ensure excellent service on existing accounts.

You will oversee training from hire date through 18–24 months and manage field performance, forecasting, and account growth while reporting to the District Sales Manager.

Qualifications

• Leadership of a field sales team and development of reps.
• Strong understanding of markets, competitors, and customers.
• Ability to forecast and plan sales activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage 2–3 reps and 1–2 service techs; oversee day-to-day operations.
• Lead weekly sales strategy planning with assigned reps.
• Oversee training of new reps from hire through 18–24 months tenure.
• Monitor rep activities, compliance, and progress; document performance issues.
• Conduct training in product knowledge and selling processes.
• Perform monthly reviews of Salesforce reports.
• Foster development of territory sales and customer relationships.
• Support new account sales and startup on new accounts.
