Job summary

Makita USA is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to own revenue growth across an assigned territory. You will build strong distributor and end-user relationships, develop annual business plans, and drive product launches with in-market execution.

You will manage forecasts, maintain a robust pipeline, travel frequently, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced field environment. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred, 3–7 years in field sales, and proficiency with

• 3–7 years of field sales experience (industrial, construction or durable goods preferred).
• Proven track record of quota attainment and territory planning.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver annual revenue, market share, and profitability targets within the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute an annual territory business plan aligned to objectives.
• Grow existing accounts through relationship expansion and product penetration.
• Drive demand creation through jobsite visits, demonstrations, and training events.
• Coordinate with distributor sales teams and internal partners to deliver exceptional customer experience.
