Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting seeks a Territory Sales Representative for commercial playground and outdoor fitness equipment. This home/field-based role covers an assigned U.S. territory, managing projects from initial contact to installation and post-sale support.

You will build a pipeline, conduct presentations, and collaborate with an internal design team to craft proposals. Travel within the territory and strong relationship skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Outside B2B sales experience is required.
• Consultative or solution-based selling preferred.
• Strong prospecting and new business development skills.
• Comfortable managing long sales cycles and multiple projects.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and relationships.
• Strong organization, follow-up, and time management.
• Ability to work independently from a home office.
• CRM experience, including Salesforce, preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license and travel throughout territory required.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, network, and develop new business throughout your territory.
• Sell commercial playground and outdoor fitness solutions to schools, municipalities, parks & recreation departments, contractors, developers, and other organizations.
• Manage territory independently from a home office while regularly meeting customers in the field.
• Build and maintain an active pipeline using CRM tools.
• Conduct customer presentations, product demonstrations, and lunch‑learns.
• Work with an internal design team to prepare proposals and preliminary project designs.
• Manage opportunities ranging from $10,000 to $1M+.
• Guide customers through the full sales process, from initial consultation through installation and post-sale support.
• Develop long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Consistently work toward and exceed territory sales goals.
