Job summary

PABCO Building Products, LLC. is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for the Northern California and Northern Nevada region. The role focuses on identifying and promoting products to dealers, contractors, owners, and especially architects and specification writers.

Responsibilities include delivering product training, developing long-term customer relationships, and executing budgets, forecasts, pricing strategies, and territory plans. Significant overnight travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years related experience in construction/architecture or equivalent.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and presentations.
• Excellent ability to present information to groups of managers, customers, co-workers and vendors.
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and apply basic algebra.

Responsibilities

• Call on dealers, contractors, owners with focus on architects and spec writers.
• Provide product training, literature and samples to build long-term relationships.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, market targets and pricing strategies within expense budgets.
• Provide competitive intelligence within the region.
• Demonstrate product features, benefits, quality and technical aspects to increase sales.
• Assist customers with product issues; report unresolved issues to management.
• Track leads and opportunities in Salesforce.com.
