Job summary

System One is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative - Business Development for the Newark, NJ territory. You will promote Clover, a cloud-based POS platform, to SMBs, conduct on-site demos, and close new business with a focus on pipeline growth and referrals.

In this quota-carrying role you will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and self-sourcing leads to closing deals. You’ll collaborate with business bankers and leverage partnerships to drive growth and retention.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales experience with quota attainment.
• Ability to prospect, self-source leads, and close deals.
• Strong relationship-building and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with banking partners and merchant services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sell Clover to SMBs in assigned territory.
• Manage territory with branches from partner banks; build referrals.
• Conduct on-site product demos and close deals.
• Own full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing and KPI attainment.
• Build pipeline, work provided leads, and generate referrals.
• Prior experience in Business Banking/Commercial Lending/Merchant Services is a plus.
