Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to build retailer relationships within your Market - AMRET - MA - Boston territory. The role demands field visits, educating merchants on financial services, and ensuring strong customer experiences at each location.

You will travel locally, conduct 22–35 visits per day, place signage, document activity, and collaborate with leadership to hit territory goals. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and paid training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Reliable transportation within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your territory and engage merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client's financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Travel within the territory to major markets and events to promote products.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet territory goals and coverage expectations.
• Record and communicate all activity to Retail Operations.
