Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II for the Joplin, MO territory. This role travels to PSCs and client offices to perform venipuncture and other specimen collections with high accuracy, in a fast-paced setting.

The position requires two years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and phlebotomy certification in select states. Travel up to 75% is required, with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Two years phlebotomy experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.
• Travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections following established procedures (venipuncture and capillary draws).
• Obtain patient identification and confirm labeling accuracy; perform data entry as needed.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing (labeling, centrifuging, splitting, storage).
• Provide professional, courteous service to patients and clients; address questions and maintain a clean collection environment.
