Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Phlebotomist II to travel within the assigned territory and provide professional specimen collection at PSCs, client sites, and other locations.

The role requires venipuncture skills, strong patient communication, and the ability to work independently with a focus on accuracy and patient care. Regular hours are Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with some weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Two years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in specified states.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections including venipuncture and capillary draws.
• Obtain patient identification and verify labeling accuracy.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing per test orders.
• Research test/client information using lab systems.
• Provide professional, efficient service and address patient questions.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming collection environment.
• Travel within territory to PSCs and Client Offices as needed.
• Follow safety, confidentiality, and corporate policies.
