Quest Diagnostics in Saint Peters, MO seeks a Phlebotomist III for a territory-based role, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM with rotational weekends. Travel 75% within territory to PSCs, IOPs, and client sites to collect specimens and ensure accurate labeling and testing.

You will work independently with a focus on low error rate, handling complex collections and providing professional patient interactions. Requires 3 years phlebotomy, HS diploma, and CA/NV/WA/LA certs as applicable; English

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• English required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections following established procedures, including venipuncture and capillary draws, with capability for difficult draws.
• Obtain patient identification and signatures to confirm labeling accuracy; perform data entry as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and storage as required by test orders.
• Research test/client information and confirm/verify orders using lab technology systems or directory of services.
