Job summary

Altitude Group is seeking an energetic outside sales professional to grow with our team. The role focuses on regional business development, face-to-face meetings, and offering supplemental insurance products to owners and decision-makers.

Training is provided in-house, with emphasis on mastering the sales cycle and advanced techniques. Ideal candidates are motivated, resilient, and capable of managing a personal book of business within a dynamic, evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience is preferred but not required.
• Willing to work a full-time work week (40 hours).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain a book of business.
• Comfort with presenting to groups and handling objections.

Responsibilities

• Respond to general emails and phone calls from clients.
• Set follow-up appointments with prospective and current clients.
• Be present on scheduled calls or meetings with sales team or manager.
• Call on new businesses, referrals, and existing clients who need to be reserviced.
• Build and maintain your own book of business.
• Meet with sales team manager to discuss targets and quotas.
• Develop relationships with local business owners in your territory.
• Set your own scheduled working hours and report weekly.
• Follow up on provided leads and balance cold calling with warm leads.
