Job summary

Altitude Group is seeking an energetic outside sales professional to grow our book of business in a defined territory. You will meet business owners and decision-makers to offer supplemental insurance products and services, with training provided in classroom and in-territory settings.

Travel is possible but not required; you will call on SMBs, set appointments, and drive sales metrics in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. We value ownership, growth, and service in our team.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain Health & Life producer license (licensing reimbursement).
• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of professional outside sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to general emails and phone calls from clients.
• Set follow-up appointments with prospects and current clients.
• Be present on scheduled calls or meetings with sales team or manager.
• Call on new businesses, referrals, and existing clients needing reservice.
• Build and maintain your own book of business.
• Meet with sales manager to discuss upcoming targets and quotas.
• Develop relationships with local business owners in your territory.
• Set your own schedule and submit it weekly to your manager.
• Balance cold lead generation with warm leads and appointments.
• Submit sales metrics and activity daily.
