Job summary

Austin Hose is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to advance our customer relationships in the Austin, TX area. You will visit customers and prospects, identify needs, and develop opportunities to expand market presence.

Responsibilities include managing quotes, orders, and data in our systems, while coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate service and delivery. Travel within the territory is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Outside sales, industrial sales, or business development experience desired.
• Strong sales, relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple customers and priorities.
• Self-motivated with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and pursue new business opportunities.
• Regularly visit customers and prospects within the territory to build relationships and identify needs.
• Prospect for new customers and expand the company’s market presence in Austin area.
• Follow up on quotes, orders, and sales opportunities in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and sales data in company systems.
• Coordinate with Inside Sales, Front Counter, Operations and other teams to meet customer needs.
• Communicate requirements clearly and help resolve orders, delivery, or service issues.
• Prepare and follow up on quotes and proposals.
• Travel within the territory as required to support customers.
