Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive growth by building and maintaining relationships with current and new clients in the Florida region, including Ocala. You will identify prospects, follow up on leads and recommend marketing strategies to target markets.

The role emphasizes networking, solution selling, and post-sale relationship management, with responsibilities to maintain reports and provide forecasts. Travel is required as part of territory coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field or five years of related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers to identify needs; suggests products and services to meet those needs.
• Demonstrates product functions and value based on customer needs.
• Maintains customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves issues post-sale.
• Maintains communication with existing and previous customers about new products and enhancements.
• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities and forecasts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
