Job summary

Rugby Architectural Building Products in the United States is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to expand the customer base in the Southern Alabama & Florida Panhandle region.

You will represent our full product line, build strong relationships, travel as needed, and drive sales growth through service and territory management.

Compensation is commission-based with draw and benefits such as health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of sales experience, preferably outside or territory sales in construction/building materials.
• Knowledge of millwork and understanding of 2-step distribution.
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory.
• Excellent customer service skills; familiarity with DMSi Agility is a plus.
• Safety sensitive position; driving company vehicle; drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Sell products to current customers in the region with a focus on service.
• Grow sales by adding new customers in the territory.
• Communicate customer needs to branches to optimize product mix.
• Coordinate with inside sales to align sales efforts.
• Accompany vendors’ reps when needed to address accounts.
