Job summary

Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor with 26 branches nationwide seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the region from Portland, ME to Andover, MA. You will grow the customer base and drive sales, handling all territory responsibilities with focus on customer service.

There is a commission-based compensation plan with expected earnings of $75,000 to $125,000 annually, plus a guaranteed draw for up to six months and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6-10 years sales experience, ideally in outside/territory roles in lumber, plywood or building materials.
• Ability to travel throughout the territory and build strong customer relationships.
• Knowledge of millwork and 2-step distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell products to current customers in the region and grow the customer base.
• Call on potential new customers throughout the territory.
• Coordinate with branches and inside sales to optimize product mix and ensure a coordinated sales effort.
• Represent the company and drive growth through customer service and relationship building.
