Job summary

Rugby Architectural Building Products, a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, seeks an Outside Sales Representative to grow the Southern Alabama and Florida Panhandle territory. You will manage existing customers and develop new business in a cooperative team environment.

The role offers commission-based earnings ranging from $75,000 to $125,000 annually with a guaranteed six-month draw, plus competitive benefits and a strong team culture. Travel across the territory is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–10 years outside/territory sales experience in construction or building materials.
• Knowledge of millwork and 2-step distribution.
• Willingness to travel across the territory.
• Excellent customer service skills; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Sell our products to current customers in the region with a focus on customer service.
• Own sales across the territory and grow the customer base.
• Call on potential new customers throughout the territory.
• Communicate customer needs to branches to optimize product mix and future sales.
• Coordinate with inside sales for a coordinated effort.
• Lead conversations and drive business growth through sales and service.
• Accompany vendor sales reps as needed to address vendor concerns.
