Job summary

JASPER Engines & Transmissions in Boise, Idaho is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow the local territory by calling on independent repair facilities, fleets, government entities, marinas and national accounts. You will live in the territory and act as the face of the company.

Base salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 per year, with quarterly bonuses and full benefits after 30 days, including medical, dental, vision, FSA, disability, life insurance, 401(k) with match and ESOP.

Qualifications

• Degree or two-plus years of sales experience.
• Hunter sales mentality.
• Self-motivated and honest.
• Automotive knowledge or background.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate business with customers in assigned territory.
• Call on independent repair facilities, fleets, and government entities.
• Develop and present needs-based sales proposals and plans.
• Collaborate with inside sales, customer service, and production teams.
• Plan and manage accounts to grow territory value.
• Introduce new products and updates to customers.
• Build long-term value-based relationships with clients.
• Prospect to expand the customer base in the territory.
