Job summary

Shepherd Controls is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue in an assigned Oklahoma territory by developing new business and expanding relationships with Industrial and Power Generation customers. You will present technically engineered solutions and manage the full sales cycle with CRM support.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, technically minded sales professional with proven outside sales experience and the ability to travel regularly within the territory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven outside sales experience selling engineered products or services.
• Experience selling to Power Generation/Industrial markets preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to meet revenue and profitability goals.
• Prospect new business and expand existing accounts through networking and events.
• Build relationships with customers and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Present technical solutions and products to Industrial and Power Generation customers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and follow-up.
