Job summary

Shepherd Controls is seeking a driven sales professional to join our team in Houston. Shepherd Controls & Associates distributes industrial automation products and solutions, helping manufacturers solve real-world challenges through automation, making operations smarter and more productive.

You will develop product knowledge, build customer relationships, prospect new accounts, provide live demos, and collaborate with our solutions group.

Qualifications

• Industrial automation or related technical experience is valuable.
• Experience in technical B2B or outside sales is preferred.
• Engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, or applications experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of product lines in the automation portfolio.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers to grow the territory.
• Prospect and develop new accounts through outreach and networking.
• Provide live product demonstrations to customers.
• Collaborate with solutions group and supplier partners to create solutions.
