Job summary

Mitutoyo America Corporation is seeking an Application Engineer in City of Industry, CA to support customers, sales teams, and distributors through software demonstrations, training, and technical consulting.

The role involves analyzing customer applications, recommending software solutions, and providing hands-on demonstrations and training sessions. Travel up to 50% is required, with a full-time schedule Monday–Friday. A technical associate degree or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent specialized training.
• Minimum of one year of related technical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer applications for PMI, CMM, Form, and Vision Measurement products.
• Recommend software solutions and help develop application parameters.
• Conduct software demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations.
• Provide software and application support by troubleshooting issues.
• Support sales by participating in customer visits and assisting distributors.
• Attend trade shows, product demonstrations, and industry events.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of customers and activities.
• Stay current on Mitutoyo products, software, and industry trends.
