Job summary

Spectrum Brands is seeking a District Merchandiser to service products in big box retailers within the assigned territory. You will establish rapport with store personnel and customers, build loyalty, and relay inventory insights to the Sales team.

Requires reliable transportation and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You will cover multiple stores daily, promote brand awareness, participate in events, and ensure planogram compliance while maintaining safe work practices and policy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years sales or retail experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel extensively within territory.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining store presentation standards through building displays, fixture installation, store sets, shelf maintenance, down stock, retrofits, inventory reconciliation, display maintenance and POP installation.
• Identifying opportunities for incremental display space to drive volume goals.
• Providing product knowledge training to store personnel to allow them to better drive sales to the end user.
• Covering multiple stores daily in an assigned territory.
• Generating sales by increasing brand awareness and trial through direct interactions with consumers in assigned stores.
• Participating in promotional events in assigned territory.
• Assisting and monitoring customer satisfaction.
• Always understanding and demonstrating safe work practices to ensure a safe work environment.
• Complying with all company policies and procedures.
• Completing other duties as assigned.
