Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Account Executive to drive sales of lab consumables, diagnostics, and instrumentation across a defined territory in California. You will cultivate physician, hospital and lab relationships and expand opportunities to meet growth targets.

The role requires 5+ years in medical/lab sales, a science-oriented Bachelor’s, and strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Travel to customer sites is expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in the sciences.
• 5+ years of sales experience in medical sales, lab, science or healthcare.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation and customer relationship skills.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet.
• Must possess organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations.
• Experience with vendor credentialing for hospital/lab access is preferred.

• Lead territory to ensure effective customer relations with physicians, hospitals, lab contacts and other medical professionals within assigned territory.
• Use available resources to meet customer needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Manage the strategic direction for the territory; develop sales strategies to meet plan and expand business; maintain a pipeline of opportunities.
• Perform sales calls and vendor relations with customers and potential customers in the territory.
• Stay informed about competitor activity and new products/services; introduce new offerings.
• Lead pricing within territory to control profitability.
• Maintain accurate reporting, records, and files for territory management.
• Positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at customer locations.
