Job summary

Westlake Royal Building Products in Des Moines, IA is looking for a results-driven sales professional to grow market share by generating awareness, creating demand and executing sales for Royal siding products. You will influence contractors, builders and architects to request Royal products and will market across Des Moines, Omaha, and Sioux Falls with significant travel.

Ideal candidates have strong presentation skills, ability to manage multiple accounts, and a proactive, self-starting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years’ related experience is preferred.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and self-starter attitude.
• Proficiency with MS Office and communications tools (Teams, Outlook).
• Experience with Salesforce or deal desk systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Spend 80% of time calling on and creating business with remodeling companies, architects, new construction builders, decking contractors, and other trade professionals.
• Spend 20% of time managing and supporting existing 2-step distribution and channel accounts and developing new accounts in the territory.
• Provide professionalism in sales and technical support that makes Westlake products the first choice.
• Learn and deliver compelling presentations of the company story and high-end pull-through products.
• Implement and execute a demand strategy in the assigned territory.
• Develop and review target lists with the Regional Manager monthly.
