Job Description

As a Territory Manager for our Fiberon decking brand, you will work with customers of all sizes to meet sales goals by maintaining and growing relationships with Distributors, Dealers, and Contractors. You will implement promotions, programs, and processes with support from the inside sales and marketing teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience in decking or building materials, a proven track record in successful pull-through sales with distributors, contractors, and builders, be highly autonomous, and be available to travel overnight up to 8-10 times a month.

This remote position is based in Portland, OR. The territory includes Northern Oregon, north of Bend, and Vancouver, WA.

Responsibilities include:

  • Achieving sales, margin, and expense budgets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Improving KPIs such as Fiberon Market Share, Dealer Share, and Product Positions.
  • Acquiring and retaining key dealers and users.
  • Optimizing local distribution to grow market share.
  • Developing annual business plans with the Regional Manager to exceed financial budgets.
  • Conducting semi-annual Joint Business Planning Meetings with the RM and local distributors.
  • Utilizing CRM and sales processes effectively.
  • Making presentations via F2F and GTM methods to groups of all sizes.
  • Reporting competitive programs and tactics to Sales and Marketing management.
  • Adhering to company policies, procedures, and ethics.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • 4+ years outside sales experience
  • Reside within the core geography
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Public speaking skills and ability to demonstrate products

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Building Industry experience
  • Sales training or certification
  • CRM experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English

Additional Information

The estimated base salary range is $98,000 - $113,000 USD. Salaries vary based on experience and other factors. Employees may also participate in bonuses or sales incentives.
