Job Description

As a Territory Manager for our Fiberon decking brand, you will work with customers of all sizes to achieve sales goals by maintaining and growing relationships with Distributors, Dealers, and Contractors. With support from the inside sales and marketing teams, you will implement promotions, programs, and processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in decking or building materials, a proven track record in successful pull-through sales with distributors, contractors, and builders, be highly autonomous, and be available to travel overnight up to 8-10 times a month.

This remote position is based in Portland, OR. The territory covers Northern Oregon, north of Bend, including Vancouver, WA.

What you will be doing:

  • Achieving sales, margin, and expense budgets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Improving KPIs such as Fiberon Market Share, Dealer Share, Product Positions, and Builder Share.
  • Acquiring and retaining key dealers and users.
  • Optimizing local distribution to grow market share.
  • Developing an annual business plan with the Regional Manager to exceed territory financial goals.
  • Conducting semi-annual Joint Business Planning Meetings with RM and local distributors.
  • Utilizing CRM and the company's sales process effectively and consistently.
  • Making effective presentations via F2F, GTM, and other methods to groups of all sizes.
  • Gathering and reporting competitive programs, promotions, and tactics to Sales and Marketing management.
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and ethics, and ensuring team compliance.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Valid State-issued Driver’s license
  • 4+ years of outside sales experience
  • Reside within the core geography
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Enjoys public speaking and product demonstrations to groups

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Building Industry experience
  • Professional sales training or certification
  • CRM experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English

Additional Information

The estimated base salary range is $98,000 - $113,000 USD, with actual compensation varying based on experience and other factors. Employees are eligible for annual bonuses or sales incentives.
