Territory Manager – Advanced Patient Monitoring

Inland Empire, California

Position Overview

Our client is a global leader in medical technology focused on advancing patient care through innovative monitoring and diagnostic solutions. The Territory Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding business within the Inland Empire territory, including Riverside, East Orange County, Fontana, Ontario, Corona, Rancho Cucamonga, and Temecula. This is a field-based sales role focused on growing utilization of advanced hemodynamic monitoring and tissue oximetry technologies across major hospital systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and outpatient surgical environments. The territory includes several established accounts with significant growth opportunity, including leading academic and community hospitals throughout the region. The Territory Manager will partner closely with anesthesiologists, intensivists, cardiac surgeons, EP Lab teams, perioperative leadership, and hospital administration to drive product adoption, clinical education, and long‑term account growth.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth within existing and targeted healthcare accounts throughout the Inland Empire territory
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with anesthesiologists, ICU stakeholders, cardiac surgery teams, EP Lab physicians, perioperative leadership, and executive decision‑makers
  • Manage a portfolio of advanced patient monitoring technologies, including noninvasive continuous blood pressure monitoring, tissue oximetry, and hemodynamic monitoring solutions
  • Conduct clinical and consultative sales conversations independently while collaborating with clinical specialists and internal support teams
  • Support product evaluations, physician education, case coverage, and implementation initiatives within hospital accounts
  • Identify opportunities to expand product utilization within established accounts and navigate complex hospital approval processes
  • Manage both capital equipment and disposable‑based sales opportunities within a long‑cycle healthcare sales environment
  • Analyze territory performance and develop strategic plans to achieve or exceed sales objectives
  • Work collaboratively with regional teammates and leadership in a highly team‑oriented environment
  • Maintain a strong understanding of competitor offerings, market dynamics, and clinical trends related to anesthesia, critical care, and advanced patient monitoring

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of medical device sales experience
  • Proven ability to sell into hospital environments and navigate complex healthcare systems
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
  • Ability to independently conduct clinical discussions with physicians and healthcare stakeholders
  • Demonstrated relationship‑building skills with anesthesia, ICU, perioperative, or procedural‑based call points
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles across large hospital systems and IDNs
  • Must reside within the Inland Empire territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience selling into anesthesia, critical care, ICU, perioperative, EP Lab, or cardiovascular environments
  • Experience with capital equipment and/or clinically complex medical technologies
  • Existing relationships with anesthesiology departments or hospital leadership within the territory
  • Strong understanding of hemodynamic monitoring, cardiovascular physiology, and perioperative patient management
  • Ability to educate physicians and clinical staff on product applications and workflow integration
  • Experience supporting product evaluations and hospital implementation processes
  • Strong enterprise‑level selling capabilities
Territory & Travel
  • Territory includes Riverside, Fontana, Ontario, Corona, Rancho Cucamonga, Temecula, and surrounding Inland Empire areas
  • Field‑based role with no regular office reporting requirement
  • Candidate should live within the territory
  • Limited overnight travel may occasionally be required within Southern California
  • No routine air travel or multi‑state coverage required
