Job summary

PURE Insurance is seeking a Territory Manager in Austin to drive profitable growth by building and managing broker relationships across the territory. You will lead pipeline and producer management initiatives and collaborate with underwriting to meet membership and premium targets.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of personal lines property and casualty insurance experience in sales, marketing, or underwriting.

  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients preferred.
  • Comfort level calling on wealth advisors and other centers of influence.
  • Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary business development partner for a defined set of brokers.
  • Conduct regular meetings and sales calls to broker partners to execute defined plans, measure progress, and achieve established KPIs.
  • Identify, appoint, and effectively onboard new brokers.
  • Implement strategies to increase production with the intent of writing profitable business.
  • Increase large account production among a short list of specified broker partners.
  • Proactively manage underperforming brokers, as needed.
  • Build relationships and positive awareness of PURE among important COIs.
  • Explore/advance new partnerships and programs to grow the PURE membership including Family Offices, Wealth Management Firms, Risk Management firms, Real Estate, etc.
  • Establish personal relationships with a network of influential PURE promoters who unsolicited and willingly share their enthusiasm for PURE with others.
  • Actively participate and collaborate with key internal stakeholders for the development of the region/territory growth and profit plan and oversees its successful execution.

About The Role

The Territory Manager is accountable for helping PURE profitably and sustainably achieve its membership and premium growth targets in the assigned geography by maintaining highly productive trading relationships with independent brokers and other centers of influence. Reporting to the VP, Regional Executive, the Territory Manager collaborates closely with Underwriting partners and plays a leading role in all pipeline management and producer management initiatives.

Compensation

The base salary for this role can range from $70,000 to $95,000 based on a full‑time work schedule. Compensation will vary depending on job‑related skills and experience, geographic location, alignment with market data, and equity among other team members with comparable experience.
