What's the Short Version?

A Territory Manager is responsible for developing and executing business strategies to increase profitability through targeted account planning and management. They sell, develop, and maintain relationships with high-profile, high-potential accounts, focusing on growth and profitability. Preferred residence area is Cleveland/Columbus.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Deliver focused presentations and follow-up with individuals, groups, and sales teams.
  • Plan strategically and document activities in our CRM; utilize reports and tools to meet planning expectations.
  • Identify customer opportunities and challenges through effective questioning and listening; propose relevant solutions.
  • Develop and execute action plans to maintain customer relationships.
  • Navigate our internal customer database to locate and document information.
  • Negotiate and close complex deals with a focus on win/win outcomes.
  • Present and sell SanMar's value proposition effectively.
  • Demonstrate features and benefits of SanMar's marketing tools to customers.
  • Arrange travel to ensure thorough customer engagement while managing expenses.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and adhere to company policies.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 4-6 years of related sales experience.
  • 1-3 years of industry-specific sales experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and a good driving record.
  • Ability to analyze business trends and assess opportunities.
  • Strong partnership-building and communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and customer service orientation.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, sales-driven, and outgoing personality.
  • Exceptional organization and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility to travel and relocate if necessary.
  • Residency in the main metropolitan area of the territory.
  • Ability to provide a credit card for expenses with a 2-4 week reimbursement process.

What's Our Offer?

Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.

Paid Time Off: Accrue up to 112 hours per year, plus 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day.
