The Territory Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a business/sales plan for maximizing net sales and will conduct business/sales with key targeted healthcare providers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc., to meet or exceed those objectives.
  2. Create pre-call plan objectives and execute post-call evaluation to continuously improve sales performance. Handle objections, misunderstandings, concerns, and consistently gain logical calls to action to close sales.
  3. Proactively serve customer needs, expectations, and challenges to build trusted relationships and achieve win-win agreements.
  4. Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
  5. Build understanding of customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical, and sales expertise. Share market intelligence with the team to align strategies and optimize brand execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2-3 years successful experience in business-to-business sales, pharmaceutical sales, or related fields preferred
  • Psychiatry or Neurology sales experience is a plus
  • Reside in or near the assigned geography
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to drive in large territories for long periods
  • Travel 50-75% overnight may be required
  • Lifting sample boxes (up to 25 pounds); accommodations available if unable
