Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identifies maintenance requirements and costs by coordinating with management, production personnel, tradesmen and technicians.
• Schedules and assigns employees; negotiates and hires contractors; follows up on work results.
• Manages repair and maintenance by prioritizing work and scheduling installation of machines and equipment.
• Ensures repairs are cost effective by examining records and documentation.
• Controls expenses by budgeting and monitoring variances; approves weekly billing for payment.
• Recruits and trains staff; communicates expectations; coaches and develops employees.
• Maintains a safe work environment by enforcing standards and compliance with regulations.
• Develops schedules; assigns work; maintains productivity standards and reference materials.
