Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations, coordinate with management, production personnel, tradesmen and technicians, and ensure cost-effective repairs. You will develop schedules, assign work, and monitor performance while driving continuous improvement in safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, at least three years of experience in facility maintenance, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• Three years of experience in facility maintenance or more preferred.
• Must be computer literate in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Identifies maintenance requirements and costs by coordinating with management, production personnel, tradesmen and technicians.
• Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; negotiating and hiring contractors; following up on work results.
• Manages repair and maintenance operation by determining work priorities, scheduling, repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment.
• Ensures repairs are performed cost effectively by examining records, reports, operating practices and other documentation.
• Controls expenses by gathering and submitting budget information; scheduling expenditures; monitoring variances; implementing corrective actions.
• Increases employees’ effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training; coaches, counsels and disciplines employees.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards; adhering to legal regulations.
• Completes operational requirements by developing schedules; assigning and monitoring work; maintaining reference manuals; enforcing new procedures.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks.
