Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail business experience or more preferred; including minimum of 2 years of management responsibility.
• Must have demonstrated leadership ability, good communication skills, be self-directed, self-motivated and customer service oriented.
• Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.
• A current valid driver’s license is required to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to store management by recapping promotional activity and reporting opportunities, results, trends.
• Manage controllable costs by educating managers on controlling merchandise variation, salaries, overtime, cash, and maintenance costs.
• Collaborate with Marketing to implement promotions and new product introductions.
• Provide feedback to category managers regarding stock issues.
• Partner with vendors to ensure product availability.
• Timely execution of monthly promotions.
• Ensure vendor performance and behavior are professional.
• Protect assets by enforcing safety practices and maintaining a secure work environment.
• Forecast requirements and assist in annual budgeting; analyze variances and take corrective actions.
