Job summary

Republic & T.F. Ehrhart is seeking a Territory Manager to cover the Peoria, IL HVAC market. You will build strong relationships with contractors, distributors, and engineers while promoting Republic’s HVAC product lines and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC sales, a Bachelor’s degree, excellent communication, and willingness to travel frequently, including overnights. Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant sales and/or HVAC experience (contractors, distributors, or manufacturers preferred).
• Strong ethical standards, professional behavior, and teamwork.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and energy efficiency solutions.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with HVAC contractors and engineers to grow profitable business.
• Implement territory sales plan to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand needs and recommend tailored product solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations to ensure service quality.
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to support promotions and training.
• Stay current on product lines and attend trainings and trade shows.
• Provide technical support and product training to customers.
