Job summary

Thompson Truck Group is seeking a motivated Territory Truck Sales Representative to grow our presence across Northeast Alabama and Northwest Georgia. You will sell new Class 8 and used trucks, develop relationships with fleets and owner-operators, and manage your own territory with CRM and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a large territory
• Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory, including occasional overnight trips
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with fleet customers and owner-operators
• Prospect and generate new business throughout the territory
• Sell new Class 8 and used trucks from quote to delivery
• Match customers with the right truck specifications, financing, warranties, and service support
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and customer contact history in CRM
• Monitor local market conditions, competitor activity, and truck values
• Represent Thompson Truck Group at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events
• Meet and exceed sales and profitability goals
