Job summary

Arkansas Hospice is seeking a Territory Account Manager in Batesville, AR. The role focuses on identifying markets of opportunity, securing market penetration, and partnering with hospice and palliative care programs to drive census growth.

You will develop and execute growth strategies, work with clinical leaders, and build relationships with referral sources while maintaining confidentiality and delivering compassionate service to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Social Services, or related field preferred; high school diploma/GED plus at least 5 years related experience may be substituted for degree.
• Minimum of two years related work experience, preferably in a hospice.
• Valid Arkansas driver’s license, car insurance, and car required. Travel daily to various locations.

Responsibilities

• Achieves referral and admission objectives with branch hospice and palliative care admissions to meet census goals.
• Identifies referral sources and arranges educational visits to increase census growth.
• Creates and executes call plans to market and educate referrals to increase referrals and admissions.
• Uses company funds to promote the organization’s mission and services.
• Collaborates with the local clinical team to address service opportunities within the territory.
• Notifies and documents patient care/service issues with appropriate staff after visits to referral sources.
• Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates strong customer service to patients and families.
• Attends meetings and trainings; pursues professional development and participates in community events.
• Develops relationships with nursing homes, hospitals, and providers; seeks new contracts and updates existing ones.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
