Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in general business, insurance, sales, marketing; a degree is preferred.
• Seven to ten years of progressive experience in insurance sales, underwriting, agency management, distribution, or related field.
• Knowledge of insurance products, underwriting, pricing, coverage, risk selection, and sales practices.

Responsibilities

• Understand the strategic and operational goals of the assigned territory and translate into growth, profitability, service and relationships.
• Monitor market conditions, competition, and portfolio results to identify opportunities and risks; communicate insights to leadership.
• Develop and execute territory and partner business plans with measurable objectives and checkpoints.
• Drive profitable new business, retention, and portfolio growth across assigned product scope.
• Build productive relationships with agencies and distribution partners; tailor engagement to each relationship.
• Communicate product, underwriting, pricing, and service information clearly to partners to position Nationwide as a provider of choice.
