Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote products and services while building strong customer relationships in the assigned territory. The role may require non-traditional hours to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.

You will develop new business, qualify prospects, and tailor product solutions based on market and customer requirements. A valid driver's license and insurability are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HS/GED with 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience including completion of the Sysco Sales Internship.
• Bi-Lingual preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic PC skills; ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and objectives in the assigned territory.
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor a mix of products and services to meet them.
