Job summary

Sysco Corp. in the United States is seeking experienced Sales Professionals, Restaurant Managers, Culinary Managers, or Chefs for outside sales roles. The position focuses on promoting Sysco products, building relationships with new and existing accounts, and achieving sales and profit goals.

Some non-traditional hours may be required to meet customers’ needs. Opportunities include specialized sales training, individual and team selling, and a robust benefits package including an Employee Stock

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience including Sysco Sales Internship.
• Bi-Lingual is preferred.
• Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, Chef experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth within territory.
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet needs.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers based on business needs and goals.
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, and company meetings.
• Manage deliveries to routing schedule and troubleshoot order issues (out of stock, special orders, inventory).
• Review daily/weekly reports—special orders, bids, and gross margin data.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience including completion of the Sysco Sales Internship
