Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join its World Class Sales Team in an outside sales capacity. You will promote Sysco products, build relationships with new and existing accounts, and work to help customers succeed while meeting sales and profit goals.

Responsibilities include developing new business, qualifying prospects, studying customer needs, and delivering product training. Some evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required to serve customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline.
• Or HSD/GED with 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience.
• Completion of the Sysco Sales Internship is considered as related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth within territory.
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet them.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on business needs.
