Job summary

ITW in Troy, OH is seeking a detail‑oriented quotations specialist to generate competitive quotes for major projects within the Food Service portfolio. You will use AutoQuotes, interpret project drawings, and liaise with dealers, consultants, and sales teams to ensure accurate pricing and timely responses.

The role requires durable knowledge of kitchen equipment lines, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business Administration/Marketing or related fields or equivalent experience.
• Customer Service Team Lead experience
• 3-5 years’ experience in sales or technical support and Customer Service
• Technical ability in reading and interpreting project documentation which includes kitchen layout drawings, specifications and equipment schedules
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and Dynamics CRM
• Effective oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
• Excellent Teamwork, Time Management, Organizational, Follow Up, and Planning Skills
• Highly motivated, self-starter and results oriented
• Ability to function in a team environment and utilization of cross-training

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely, accurate quotations for Food Service Dealers, Territory Sales Managers, Retail and National Account Managers, Independent Rep Groups, and Product Line personnel using the AutoQuotes computerized quotation system.
• Act as intermediary between Food Service Dealers, Territory Sales Managers, Independent Rep Groups, Consultants, and Customer Care Team to resolve project document discrepancies for accurate quotations and pricing.
• Must possess working knowledge of current and discontinued product lines and relate to devices and systems to converse at a professional level with customers.
• Maintain a list of approved, non-published special engineered features and options with pricing for use in generating quotations.
• Interface with plants and engineering to resolve design issues and capture field requests for feasibility and pricing.
• Research competitor’s equipment and generate quotations for alternates; provide reference material to enable consistent selection of alternates.
• Participate in ITW Toolbox webinars and training to enhance process assessment and improvement recommendations.
• Attend and participate in Food Service Industry Trade Shows and training sessions to develop professional sales techniques and expand product knowledge.
• Develop knowledge of CRM Project Management System and SharePoint document management system.
• Back-up for other assigned territories, as needed.
