Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative to build relationships and drive growth in the DFW Metroplex. The role focuses on acquiring new customers and strengthening existing ones, with a blend of salary, commission, and bonus compensation.

You will visit customers regularly, analyze opportunities, train clients on products, and manage territory activities to balance new accounts with deepening relationships.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Maintaining a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain your food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships, develop new business, and provide innovative solutions to customers within the assigned territory.
• Pursue new customers by researching industry trends and identifying prospects in the territory.
• Visit customers regularly (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly) and conduct business reviews to identify needs and growth opportunities.
• Manage the sales territory, coordinate visits, and communicate order status and updates to customers.
