Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Boston is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative to lead sales and relationship management for your assigned territory, pursuing new customers and strengthening existing ones.

The role includes territory planning, visiting customers weekly or monthly, and delivering training and value through product offerings to drive growth for both the company and its customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain your food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Pursuing new customers and developing sales strategies within territory.
• Deepening and strengthening existing customer relationships through visits and business reviews.
• Managing sales territory and coordinating visits to prospective and current customers.
• Providing ongoing training to customers on Gordon Food Service product offerings.
• Communicating order status and processing updates to customers.
